Cluj is growing fast, full of young people and energy, but also of isolation, pressure and families that need support. They are exactly who we are here for.

Our story
From a café to a church for the city
Carmel and Ioana began meeting with their neighbours in their home. The next step was to rent a café and meet people there. Two years later the community had grown to 50 adults, who together worked towards the official opening of Biserica Poarta Regelui in the east of the city, a fast-expanding area.

Outside the Coffee Cup café in Cluj-Napoca, with Carmel, Ioana, their two daughters and Raluca.

Two years of growth
More than 50 people, friendships formed and lives transformed.
